Our favorite playdough recipe🧡💚 . . ❤️We Our favorite playdough recipe🧡💚
.
.
❤️We got this recipe from one of our amazing school teachers.
.
🧡It’s super easy to clean up too, plain water will get it off your table and out of your carpet-win/win.
.
💚I like to throw a few tools and shapers on to the table and It keeps the kids busy for hours (ie. moment of peace for mom 😉 #selfcare)
.
.
1 cup all purpose flour
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup water
1/2 cup salt
2 teaspoons Cream of Tartar (can be found in the spice section of the grocery store)
1 Kool-Aid singles pack (we like to use this for the brightest colors and it makes the playdough smell SO good!.. but you can also just use food coloring)
.
.
Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Use a wooden spoon to stir over medium heat; stir constantly to prevent sticking. The mixture will be soupy for several minutes and then suddenly it will begin sticking together and can be stirred into a ball. When it thickens, remove from heat and continue stirring. Turn the hot ball of dough onto a floured surface and knead as it cools until it is smooth and no longer sticky. Store in an air-tight container, ziplock bags work great too.
.
Enjoy! 💛
Imma succa for you 😆💕
